An Orientation Coordinator is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Melbourne, FL area. This role will manage the end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires by preparing materials, leading orientation presentations, and teaching essential software systems.

responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize training areas, materials, and audiovisual equipment prior to orientation sessions.
- Distribute orientation packets and manuals while ensuring all documentation is ready for participants.
- Greet new hires, facilitate introductions, and manage building access badges with security.
- Present company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards to groups of new employees.
- Administer and track the completion of computer-based training (CBT) modules.
- Demonstrate company software for timekeeping and work instructions, ensuring new hires can navigate systems independently.
- Monitor participant engagement and progress, answering questions to ensure full comprehension of material.
- Enforce company code of conduct and safety policies throughout the onboarding process.
- Record attendance and assessment results, reporting observations on performance to management.
- Provide administrative support to the hiring team during interview days and candidate scheduling.
- Escalate complex personnel issues or concerns to HR or supervisors as needed.
- Maintain organized records of all training activities and participant documentation for compliance.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer navigation.
- Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
- Minimum education requirement is HS Diploma/equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience as an onboarding/training coordinator or similar strongly preferred.
