Great client is seeking design support specialist to join their design engineering team on a contract basis. This is a high-impact, entry-level opportunity for a process-oriented self-starter. Working under the direct mentorship of Senior Design Engineers, you will manage Bill of Materials (BOMs), process engineering changes, and perform minor CATIA V5 markups.

responsibilities:
- Work within the PLM system to create Product Definitions, including Bills of Specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Build change packages, including Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
- Assist with time-consuming model conversion tasks and incorporate minor 2D/3D markups within CATIA V5.
- Perform Design Quality Assurance by error-checking work against provided technical checklists.
- Manage mass properties tracking documents and definitions for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and industry-standard hardware.
- Maintain electronic filing systems for technical drawings and support the creation of presentations and design reports.
- strong organizational and communication skills with a self-starter mentality.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- 1 years of experience in a technical or administrative support role within a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo) and PLM systems is preferred; must be willing to learn
