A Transmission Loan Project Manager is needed for a world class utility company in the Columbus, OH area. This position will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for DOE federal loan applications and compliance within a transmission project portfolio.

responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of electric transmission projects specifically focused on DOE Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) loan applications and compliance.
- Coordinate with the Grant Submittal, Grant Compliance, and EDF Contract Managers to oversee project workflows and submission timelines.
- Monitor project milestones and conduct frequent follow-ups with team members to ensure deliverables are met on schedule.
- Maintain accurate documentation for project eligibility reviews, working closely with environmental SMEs to organize required submittals.
- Facilitate continuous communication and collaboration between internal project teams, external partners, and federal stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain working relationships with the EDF lead team to ensure ongoing loan compliance and project alignment.
- Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to address challenges during the application process.
- Familiarity with transmission related functions, terminology, and workflows in an electric utility setting or related construction fields.
- Familiarity with federal loan application and compliance processes, as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
- PMP is desired.
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in electric utility transmission and/or in grant writing, federal funding application development, or federal award compliance.
