An Electronic Technician is needed for a multinational power management company in the Raleigh, NC area. This role will assemble, test, and repair complex electronic systems, using tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters & collaborate with engineers to ensure all electronic hardware is reliable, functional, and built to specification.

responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic components and systems based on engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Conduct functional tests and performance evaluations using standard procedures and specialized test equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electronic systems to identify the root cause of malfunctions or performance issues.
- Perform precision repairs, adjustments, and hardware modifications to ensure devices meet operational requirements.
- Set up and operate advanced instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Document all test results, observations, and troubleshooting steps accurately for engineering records.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on product design, manufacturability, and performance.
- Utilize soldering and PCB rework techniques to fix or upgrade surface-mount and through-hole components.
- Maintain high quality standards by following established electronic manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve electronic issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests and documenting results.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with surface-mount technology (SMT) assembly and rework techniques.
- Experience with soldering and PCB rework procedures.
- Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Familiarity with basic programming languages for embedded systems.
- Certification or training in electronics assembly or testing.
- Associate degree or technical certificate in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in electronic assembly, testing, or troubleshooting.
