HVAC Estimator needed for a direct hire role in the Greater Boston Area. The right person for this role will have expertise in pricing, specific to HVAC. This individual will play a key role in coordinating HVAC projects across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Southern Maine.
Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of related experience within the HVAC / construction industry and will be proficient with estimating software and take-off tools.

responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate HVAC estimates for commercial and industrial projects
- Review project drawings, specifications, and and bid documents to develop complete scopes of work
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for HVAC systems, equipment and associated materials
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Operations teams during preconstruction
- Particapte in bid reviews, scope clarifications, and value engineering discussions
- Assist with budget development, conceptual estimates and desgin-build pricing when required
- 5+ years of HVAC, or related field experience with mechanical contractor
- Proficiency in estimating software and take-off tools
- Proven understanding of HVAC systems, equipment and installation methods
- Experience in pricing commercial and/or industrial mechanical projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
