A Facilities Process Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Boise, ID area. This role will oversee the design, review, and installation of complex chemical and mechanical facility systems for high-tech manufacturing, requiring a relevant engineering degree and at least 2 years of practical experience.

responsibilities:
- Serve as the owner's representative to review and approve designs, specifications, and drawings for complex manufacturing facilities.
- Manage the design and installation of facilities infrastructure, including ultrapure water, chemical/gas distribution, and process piping.
- Oversee technical engineering for equipment water, wastewater, and densely packed industrial mechanical systems.
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and component selection for new and retrofit building projects.
- Review design packages, including P&IDs, layout drawings, details, and equipment plans.
- Edit and maintain client-specific standards and technical specifications.
- Manage vendor submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and construction document workflows.
- Interface daily with client owners and site personnel to drive projects through the review process.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integration of tools into the factory environment.
- Provide support and oversight throughout the construction and system integration phases.
- Ensure all designs comply with safety and operational requirements for semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
- Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software.

- Passion for buildings and construction.
- EIT or PE license.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University.
- At least 2 years of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems.
- At least 2 years of design project delivery processes experience.
- At least 1 year of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms.
- 1 year field experience.
