Our client is launching a new division focused on winning and executing complex industrial MEP subcontract projects - and they are hiring a senior Project Manager / Superintendent to help lead that effort from the ground up.
This is a hybrid leadership role combining high-level project management with boots-on-the-ground field oversight. The focus is heavy industrial piping and process systems across diverse project environments including chemical plants, cold storage facilities, and civil infrastructure installations.
The ideal candidate is a working leader - someone who can operate strategically with stakeholders while staying connected to field execution to keep projects safe, efficient, and on schedule.

responsibilities:
- Manage industrial construction projects with a primary focus on process and in-ground piping installations
- Develop and maintain project schedules, execution plans, and coordination strategies
- Lead field teams during critical installation phases to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence
- Interpret schematics and piping layouts to guide installation and troubleshoot challenges
- Serve as liaison between stakeholders, leadership, and onsite crews
- Monitor project progress and support financial oversight in partnership with operations leadership
- Travel to job sites as required (approximately 30%)
- Industrial piping and welding installations
- Chemical processing facilities
- Cold storage infrastructure
- Civil wastewater/pump station construction
- Large-footprint industrial builds (up to 1M sq ft facilities)
- High-volume piping installs within tight execution windows
- 8+ years industrial construction experience (piping/welding installation preferred - deeper experience welcomed)
- Proven leadership on projects valued $5M+
- Thorough understanding of process piping systems and field execution
- Ability to read schematics and provide technical guidance to crews
- Comfortable balancing project oversight with field presence
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, including out-of-state project work
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
