Our client is launching a new quality function to support expanding industrial construction projects, and they are seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to help establish best-in-class safety and quality execution across active job sites. This is a field-focused role built for someone who understands industrial construction environments and wants to play a direct role in protecting project quality, safety compliance, and operational excellence.
This position partners closely with internal safety and quality leadership to ensure OSHA compliance, site quality standards, and real-world execution align with company expectations. The work is not facilities management - it is boots-on-the-ground industrial construction oversight supporting multi-project operations.

responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site quality inspections and safety oversight for industrial construction projects
- Ensure OSHA standards and internal quality requirements are consistently met
- Partner with safety leadership and project teams to drive compliance and best practices
- Perform field audits and quality checks to maintain construction execution standards
- Support multi-project coordination to ensure consistent quality outcomes
- Act as an internal safety and quality advocate across field teams
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing quality roles
- Hands-on safety compliance and field coordination experience in construction environments
- Experience supporting quality oversight across multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) preferred - relevant experience considered
- Industrial construction exposure required (facility-only backgrounds not a fit)
- OSHA familiarity and applied safety knowledge
- CWI certification a plus
