A Planner is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Dubuque, IA area. This supply management role coordinates material flow, inventory accuracy, and experimental part procurement using SAP and Excel to ensure production schedules are met and shortages are resolved.

responsibilities:
- Coordinates the flow of materials and manages Kanban replenishment to ensure uninterrupted factory production.
- Executes tactical production plans and creates daily schedules using the Master Schedule.
- Procures and expedites experimental parts to support feasibility and durability builds.
- Collaborates with Engineering, Supply Management, and the Experimental Shop to manage part requests via shared queues.
- Identifies root causes of material shortages and recommends process improvements for inventory accuracy.
- Utilizes SAP to create Material Masters, extend views, and perform material movements.
- Manages the movement of rejected materials back to the source and resolves inventory discrepancies.
- Processes transactions for inbound and outbound materials, including shipping and receiving duties.
- Audits material replenishment cycles and assists in the development of replenishment plans.
- Monitors critical shortage reports to proactively ensure part availability for production personnel.
- Applies company Production System principles to oversee material logistics and inventory management.
- Good computer skills,
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, other common formulas, etc.),
- Effective communication both verbally and written, and
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

- Power BI.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, but candidates with relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Degrees in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or Mathematics are preferred.
