A Cost Management Analyst is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Moline, IL area. This role manages the validation, forecasting, and reporting of material costs and price adjustments using advanced Excel skills to ensure data accuracy and supply chain financial alignment.

responsibilities:
- Analyzes and supports the price and material adjustment process for supply chain operations.
- Validates part lists for completeness and ensures pricing documentation supports requested changes.
- Investigates and resolves data outliers and escalates critical issues when necessary.
- Manages Material Place Holders and forecasting tools for specific councils.
- Conducts monthly reviews with Supply Base Managers to ensure robust raw material forecasting.
- Updates forecasts within the Cost Management System (CMS) during month-end activities.
- Publishes and presents detailed reports while providing data-driven answers to stakeholders.
- Coordinates with team members to achieve organizational and reporting goals.
- Must have demonstrated strong experience with Excel specifically functions like VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.
