A Technical Writer is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Hemlock, MI area. The Technical Writer creates and maintains clear, standardized manuals and specifications by collaborating with technical teams to translate complex information into user-friendly documentation.

responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and format technical documents including process manuals, system specifications, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to gather and interpret documentation requirements.
- Standardize content across various platforms and media to ensure consistency.
- Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Work with project teams to understand technical product details and create relevant content.
- Translate complex technical terminology into clear, user-friendly language.
- Conduct periodic reviews and updates to ensure documents reflect current processes accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
- Proficient in using MS Office and other documentation tools.
- strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- An associate degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field or currently enrolled in one of these programs at an accredited college/university.
- Proven 2-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role in a technical field.
