Our client, a well known automotive manufacturer is seeking an engineer who will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects, optimizing the North American supply chain, and improving internal delivery processes through problem-solving and collaboration.
1 year contract- 50% travel domestically and internationally
A successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, have experience with Microsoft Excel/Project/Planner and AutoCAD Layout Design

responsibilities:
- Lead and support cross-functional Internal Logistics Engineering projects to optimize the North America supply chain.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing groups to troubleshoot and resolve parts flow issues.
- Analyze and improve current business processes to enhance supply chain performance through efficient problem-solving and countermeasure development.
- Develop and manage a strategy for consolidating and communicating supply chain data (KPIs) to facilitate daily process management.
- Work with manufacturing departments and Pilot Engineers to confirm process needs, equipment, and system compliance.
- Support and lead the installation of internal logistics equipment, including both automated and manual delivery systems.
- Assist with related training and testing activities.
