Our client is actively building a dedicated mission-critical/data center construction team in the Scottsdale,AZ market and is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field execution on complex, high-profile projects. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role with a top-tier general contractor and help shape the growth of their data center operations from the ground up.
The Senior Superintendent serves as the on-site leader responsible for all field operations, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and delivery of technically demanding MEP infrastructure. This role partners closely with the Project Manager from preconstruction through commissioning to ensure schedule adherence, quality control, and mission-critical performance standards are met.

responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site construction operations for large-scale data center projects
- Coordinate subcontractors and specialized MEP trades to maintain schedule and quality standards
- Maintain full accountability for jobsite safety and compliance
- Partner with Project Management during preconstruction for budgeting and scheduling alignment
- Oversee system testing, commissioning, and documentation processes
- Drive quality assurance and contract compliance across all field activities
- Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and trade partners
- Mentor and develop field staff to maintain a high-performance, safety-focused culture
- Ensure mission-critical standards are consistently achieved
- 5+ years serving as Lead/Senior Superintendent on data center or mission-critical projects
- Experience leading large commercial construction projects with a reputable general contractor
- 10+ years total commercial construction field leadership experience
- Thorough knowledge of complex MEP systems and commissioning processes
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multi-trade coordination
- Professional presentation and stable project history
