responsibilities:
- Perform structural design and analysis for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures under the supervision of licensed engineers.
- Prepare comprehensive design calculations, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Utilize engineering design software to develop and document structural solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers, CAD technicians, and other disciplines to ensure accurate deliverables.
- Research design options and materials to develop cost-effective and innovative technical solutions.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of drawings for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
- Assist with project documentation, including cost estimates and schedules.
- Maintain organized project files and professional communication with internal teams and clients.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent technical experience preferred.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and computer-aided design tools.
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles and building codes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet project budgets and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to technical detail.
