A Supply Management Planner is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Waterloo, IA area. This role focuses on coordinating the flow of purchased materials by managing supplier schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and analyzing supply chain data to ensure seamless production and logistics performance.

responsibilities:
- Manage the daily delivery and replenishment process for purchased parts from internal and external suppliers.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding schedule releases, economic order quantities, and delivery requirements.
- Implement and maintain optimal logistics processes and material management systems within the unit.
- Monitor supplier logistic performance and provide support to Supply Management Specialists.
- Investigate supplier incidents and recommend timely actions to ensure service continuity.
- Collect data on cost drivers, market dynamics, and innovation to support senior-level decision-making.
- Conduct routine inventory-control tasks, verifying quantities, quality, and availability against records.
- Identify and suggest improvements for existing operations and planning activities.
- Report on contract performance to assist in future negotiations and renegotiations.
- Coordinate meetings and events to support stakeholder engagement.
- Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
