A Work Scheduling Associate is needed for a world class utility company in the Tulsa, OK area. This role coordinates the scheduling and resource allocation for electrical distribution work, ensuring that customer service requests and construction projects meet technical prerequisites and regulatory codes while maintaining operational efficiency.

responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling of engineered and non-engineered jobs for the distribution line and service workforce.
- Combine personnel and equipment resources using work management systems to ensure timely job completion.
- Characterize new customer work requests, including electrical load, energy requirements, and construction needs.
- Specify job prerequisites such as field engineering, tree trimming, electrical inspections, and special metering.
- Provide technical consultation to customers on service design, city ordinances, and electrical code requirements.
- Liaise with builders, electrical inspectors, foresters, and metering departments to ensure all prerequisites are met.
- Negotiate with supervisors and customers to adjust schedules in response to inclement weather or workload shifts.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of customer service outages to minimize disruption.
- Utilize distribution work processes and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure customer deadlines are met through proactive communication and resource tracking.
- Manage high volumes of data regarding distribution construction and existing electrical services.
- Associate's degree in engineering technology or High school diploma with experience as listed below.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in distribution operations including good working knowledge of distribution work processes and procedures.
