responsibilities:
- Ensure company materials and supplies are received quickly, efficiently, and within budget.
- Monitor and manage company inventory levels.
- Track and evaluate the performance of current supply chain methods.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Recommend strategic changes to warehouse locations, suppliers, or transportation methods.
- Resolve supply emergencies, such as sudden demand spikes or material shortages, to meet deadlines.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or operations.
- Possess two to five years of direct experience in the supply chain field.
- Maintain or pursue industry certifications like APICS CPIM or CSCP.
- A master's degree in business administration may be helpful, especially if the applicant hopes to rise to a senior level in the company.
