responsibilities:
- Manage the full life cycle of power plant outages from initial planning to final closeout.
- Develop comprehensive outage scopes, critical path schedules, and detailed resource plans.
- Direct internal staff, external contractors, and OEM field services.
- Oversee outage budgets, track real-time costs, and manage productivity to meet financial targets.
- Enforce strict safety protocols, equipment tagging, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for high-risk tasks.
- Lead pre-outage readiness meetings, daily execution updates, and post-outage reviews.
- Monitor and report on KPIs including safety metrics, duration, cost, and reliability.
- Make high-pressure decisions regarding emergent work and schedule priorities.
- Proven track record of driving safe work practices during complex, time-constrained outages.
- Ability to prioritize and make critical decisions under pressure, particularly regarding emergent work.
- Experience using KPIs and lessons learned to shorten outage durations and reduce costs.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills for interfacing with plant staff, corporate leaders, OEMs, and regulators.

- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience in power generation or industrial maintenance.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in power plant, manufacturing, or industrial operations with direct responsibility for major maintenance events.
