Quality Engineer for a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier based near Calhoun, GA. This position is responsible for implementing, sustaining, and continuously improving quality systems.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering degree is preferred)
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 quality standards
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Plastics industry experience

responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing, sustaining, and continuously improving quality systems
- Collaboration with customers to address and resolve production quality issues
- Develops and maintains quality standards and quality procedures to satisfy company/customer requirements
- Responsible for the corrective action system and the development of corrective actions using 8-D, 5 Why, and other problem-solving tools
- Responsible for the preparation and accuracy of PPAP submissions to customers
- Participates in ISO / TS 16949 and IATF 16949 Internal and External audits
- Assists in the development and maintenance of PFMEA's and process flow diagrams
