Top construction firm is looking to add an experienced Transmission and Distribution Superintendent to the greater Boston, MA area. This field-based role will lead onsite operations for complex Power Transmission & Distribution projects. You aren't just a supervisor; you are the primary driver of site safety, technical integrity, and subcontractor performance. You will bridge the gap between engineering blueprints and physical reality, ensuring every bolt, wire, and foundation meets our rigorous standards. Must live within 70 miles of the Boston area.

responsibilities:
- Strategic Project Oversight & Execution Directly manage all onsite construction efforts, including scheduling, material management, and engineering compliance. You ensure the project stays on track by translating complex isometric and structural drawings into physical execution.
- Subcontractor & Resource Management Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, ensuring contractual compliance and productivity. This includes managing 3-week look-ahead reports to anticipate bottlenecks and tracking installed quantities on a work-hour basis to maintain the budget.
- Safety Leadership & Regulatory Compliance Serve as the ultimate authority for site safety. You aren't just following rules; you are auditing Pre-Task Analysis (PTA) and Task Safety Observations (TSO) to mitigate risk and ensure a zero-incident environment.
- Quality Assurance & Technical Validation Own the "walk-down" process. You witness equipment settings, verify system alignments, and manage punch lists to ensure every installation meets codes, specifications, and the most current drawing revisions before final sign-off.
- Stakeholder Liaison & Change Management Build and bridge relationships between clients, A/E representatives, and project management. You identify scope creep in the field and authorize design change requests (FCRs) to ensure all field changes are documented and billed correctly.
