We are in search of a PLC Programmer that is primarily focused on projects within Central PA. In this role you will be responsible for programming, supporting installation/start up and repair of complex automated equipment at various sites. We are seeking candidates with a Bachelors degree and experience within Automation, Robotics, Fanuc Robots etc. Must have advanced PLC programming experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for professionals that have a passion for travel and a fast paced environment. This position requires 100% travel to different job sites throughout the United States. Candidates must have a valid passport and be willing to travel to Spain for training.

responsibilities:
- PLC programming ladder and structured text of main PLCs - Rockwell, Siemens and B&R.
- VFD's programming, network managed switches, etc.
- Upstream and downstream interlocks set-up to third party equipment
- Integration of automation peripherals: labelers, checkweighers, barcode readers, vision cameras,
- Electrical schematics interpretation and supervision of electrical tasks
- Supervision and coordination of contractors reporting to project manager
- Reporting timelines & project updates to project manager
- Working on customer start-up projects
- Documentation of equipment and Projects
- Training to final operators and supervisors about the equipment.
- Service existing equipment within the field - identify errors/failures to determine the root cause and preventative actions.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals to develop a controls narrative or adjust current equipment functionality
- Modify existing applications as requested by operations to improve production and equipment reliability
- Design and maintain electrical schematics using AutoCAD format for any equipment changes
- Support multiple maintenance related projects
