responsibilities:
- 12 hour rotating schedule
- Perform repairs, installations, and calibrations on various electrical equipment using standard manuals and technical documentation
- Utilize specialized tools such as voltage meters, HART communicators, and PLCs to diagnose and resolve equipment failures efficiently
- Program new plant machinery or modify existing software logic to optimize performance as directed
- Manage a mix of planned maintenance tasks and urgent "line calls," ensuring minimal downtime through effective time management
- Execute physical electrical work, including bending conduit, pulling wire, and hanging electrical housing
- Conduct equipment safety tests, update Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and maintain high standards for plant housekeeping and 5S programs
- Provide clear updates on work status and troubleshooting steps via radio, face-to-face interactions, and digital reporting tools
- Identify and source necessary electrical components from the parts room for both emergency repairs and long-term projects
- Educate plant personnel on new system operations and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with the broader team to refine technical documentation, streamline processes, and participate in ongoing skills development
- Assist with direct line operations and quality testing to ensure production goals are met
