A Mechanical Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Boise, ID area. This position is focused on the design and startup of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for industrial and manufacturing facilities.

responsibilities:
- Design and specify engineered systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver state-of-the-art industrial and commercial projects.
- Ensure the technical quality and timely schedule of challenging engineering tasks.
- Provide on-site technical assistance during facility startup and system commissioning.
- Coordinate work activities closely with staff members and senior discipline leads.
- Utilize Revit software to develop and refine building designs and technical models.
- Manage project expectations regarding scope, budget, and delivery timelines.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complex building systems.
- Communicate effectively through both verbal technical discussions and written reports.
- Maintain an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or work toward professional licensure.
- Demonstrate a passion for the construction and functionality of manufacturing facilities.
- Propose innovative ideas and best practices for the design of engineered products.
- Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Working knowledge of Revit software preferred.
