A Technical Support Engineer is needed for an American multinational corporation specializing in Internet-related services and products in the Leesburg, VA area. This position is focused on triaging quality issues, performing root cause analysis, and using data analytics to minimize damage to datacenter equipment.

responsibilities:
- Manage and triage a high-volume ticket queue of quality issues identified within the datacenter.
- Perform first-level investigations and initial analysis to ensure all necessary data is captured for senior engineers.
- Conduct root cause analysis on hardware failures and propose technical resolutions or mitigation strategies.
- Analyze fleet and manufacturing data to identify deployment trends and create actionable bug reports for partner teams.
- Monitor product performance metrics and present data-driven insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Develop, review, and improve technical documentation, including repair guides and deployment manuals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to influence partner teams and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot server, storage, and networking hardware in a live production or R&D lab environment.
- Experience in data analysis and visualization using SQL, JMP, or Python+.
- People skills to work with and influence others.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, or relevant engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in computing hardware quality, product engineering, test engineering, or electronic hardware systems issue resolution.
