A Senior Piping Designer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Cincinnati, OH (hybrid) area. This lead piping designer with 15+ years of experience in industrial/pharma sectors will manage complex 3D modeling projects, oversee multi-office coordination, and mentor junior staff while ensuring technical and budgetary accuracy.

responsibilities:
- Take accountability for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
- Manage project scope, budget, and earned value (progress measurement).
- Lead projects involving multi-office execution.
- Identify and communicate design changes and scope creep promptly.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to review vendor drawings.
- Develop detailed piping engineering designs and cost estimates.
- Mentor junior professionals and guide their technical development.
- Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as Hexagon Smartplant S3D, Autodesk Plant 3D.
