Our client, a leader in the manufacturing of medical devices is looking for a supplier engineer for their Bothell, WA location. Key qualifications include, No prior experience required with Bachelor's OR minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Safety Engineering, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement Techniques or equivalent with Vocational Education. Hybrid role, 3 days in office.

responsibilities:
- Non-Conformance Management: Partner with the Material Review Board (MRB) to process Quality Notifications (QNs) and issue formal SQNs to suppliers.
- Supplier Communication: Serve as the primary contact to ensure suppliers acknowledge issues and engage in technical discussions regarding quality failures.
- Corrective Action (CAPA): Lead containment, root cause analysis, and preventive actions, including initiating and closing Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs).
- APQP & Part Qualification: Drive the end-to-end APQP process, collaborating with R&D and Procurement to guide suppliers through all phase deliverables.
- Process Validation: Use statistical techniques to perform IQ/OQ/PQ and assess process capability to ensure quality standards are met before mass production.
