Seeking an Associate Director Data Center Climate Solutions for a high growth HVAC Cooling Solutions client onsite in the Charlotte, NC area.
The Associate Director would be responsible for leading the architecture of solutions for the Data Center market. The candidate will partner closely with relevant business unit general managers, engineering, sales, and strategy leaders to deliver customer backed and differentiated solutions to the market. Experience with Cooling Solutions and working with/for hyperscaler data center clients is a requirement.

responsibilities:
- Trend & Competitive Analysis: Monitor emerging data center build trends and benchmark competitor technical solutions against hyperscaler/colocation needs.
- System Differentiation: Analyze trade-offs between HVAC hardware and controls to define unique product value propositions.
- Strategy Translation: Convert customer requirements into a comprehensive product and solution roadmap.
- System Design: Define high-level solution architectures and derive core system-level requirements.
- Requirement Breakdown: Deconstruct complex system specs into actionable sub-system technical requirements.
- Global Platforms: Drive design synergies by developing scalable, global platforms to reduce enterprise-level redundancy.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with customers and product management to ensure solutions are both scalable and cost-efficient.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Foster internal relationships to ensure seamless implementation of data center projects across global business units.
