An MEP Project Manager is needed for a leading construction organization with a project near Burlington, IA. The MEP Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the specific mechanical and electrical construction needs of high-stakes mission critical facility. This role involves managing all MEP trade contractors and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery from pre-construction through final close-out. You will serve as the primary coordinator for all MEP schedules, budgets, and technical documentation to meet rigorous project standards.
Candidates should possess 5+ years of commercial construction experience with a heavy focus on large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems. A bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is preferred, alongside a proven track record of managing complex general contracting projects. Expertise in developing project scopes, managing RFIs, and maintaining strict cost control is essential for success in this position. This is slated to be a contract position, which could convert into a full-time role. Living and travel allowances are budgeted for this role.

- Lead and supervise all MEP trade partners and vendors from groundbreaking through project turnover
- Develop and manage detailed project scopes, schedules, and budgets while ensuring precise cost control
- Monitor the installation and start-up of complex MEP systems to ensure alignment with engineering specifications
- Oversee the commissioning process in collaboration with the Engineer and Owner to ensure operational readiness
- Maintain professional relationships with owners' representatives, architects, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution
- Manage all technical documentation, including change orders and RFIs, to keep the project on track
