A Technical Buyer is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Keene, NH area. This role manages the procurement lifecycle by sourcing quotes, handling purchase orders, and resolving payment issues while ensuring regulatory compliance and a steady flow of supplies.

responsibilities:
- Manage essential procurement documentation and records.
- Solicit quotes from vendors and process purchase orders.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments and invoicing.
- Oversee indirect spend activities to support internal operations.
- Maintain continuous surety of supply to prevent operational delays.
- Ensure all activities comply with government regulations and company policies.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Utilize ERP systems and procurement software to track supply chain data.
- strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with legal procedures related to NDAs and supplier contracts is preferred.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially when handling invoicing or payment discrepancies.
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years proven experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
