A Senior Electrical Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Boise, ID area. This role will guide designers, provide technical leadership, deliver quality reviews, and tackle some of the most complex engineering challenges in the industry.

responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), arc flash, short-circuit, and load flow calculations.
- Lead and oversee the design of facility power distribution, grounding, and lighting systems.
- Supervise design teams, provide technical leadership, and perform quality control reviews.
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and construction document packages.
- Manage electrical equipment specifications and conduct vendor submittal reviews.
- Collaborate directly with clients, owners, and contractors in high-pressure environments.
- Utilize Revit or BIM software for multidisciplinary design coordination.
- Semiconductor and/or mission-critical/data center design experience.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
- strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for continuous learning.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering and a current PE license.
- Apply over 12 years of experience in engineering design for complex building electrical systems.
