Mechanical Design Engineer for a leading manufacturing company based near Ball Ground, GA. This role is responsible to develop designs in support of new and existing products to customer-specific requests.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in 3D CAD (Solid Edge and/or Solid Works)
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma

- Developing designs in support of new and existing products that meet DFM guidelines to customer-specific requests
- Design, develop, and test new products and product improvements
- Execute projects utilizing CAD software creating 3D models and assemblies and drafts of parts components and assemblies.
- Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions
- Provide product specifications and Bills of Material

- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 1 year of experience
