Our client, a preeminent mechanical contractor based in Newport News, Virginia, is looking for a SR Project Manager to join their New Construction Business Unit. As the primary lead for assigned projects, you will oversee the installation of plumbing, HVAC equipment and controls, ductwork, and insulation.

responsibilities:
- The SR Project Manager is involved in the estimating and bid submission process
- Coordinates the installation of plumbing, HVAC equipment and controls, ductwork, insulation, and TAB
- Schedules, coordinates, and leads the start-up and commissioning process
- Works and coordinates with prefabrication department to insure cost efficient material take off, procurement, submittals, and delivery of materials
- Purchase and procure all quoted items on the project with input from estimating
- Manages project labor, subcontracted work, and materials budgets
- 10+ years experience in mechanical contracting project management preferably with a $50 million to $80 million company (or larger)
- Experience managing projects in the $8 million to $12 million range
- HVAC adjacent experience (Equipment sales and field experience)
