Product Development Engineer located in Huntersville, NC for a leading manufacturer of consumer goods. This role is responsible for new product development (NPD) projects for both new and existing products.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for new product development (NPD) projects for both new and existing products
- Participate in the engineering efforts for NPD projects from conception through production launch
- Ensure the product meets or exceeds expectations from a cost, timing, and specification standpoint
- Assist in writing technical specifications for the development and implementation of new products
- Use design tools to create components and basic assemblies
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Hands on prototyping/design validation model building knowledge
- CAD modeling experience (Creo preferred)
- Understanding of how to determine new product costs, capital expenses, and competitive benchmarking

- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
