Industry leader seeks Junior Controls Engineer / PLC Technician / Automation Technician / Controls Technician to perform PLC troubleshooting and programming within the entire plant. You should be able to program Siemens TIA Portal or Siemens Step 7. Rotating 12-hour shift, on a 4-on / 4-off schedule. Extremely stable company in a position of growth. responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, program, and modify programming on PLCs
- Work with HMIs, SCADA, and with all aspects of industrial automation within the plant
- Perform commissioning on equipment
- Work on capital projects related to industrial automation
- BS Electrical Engineering or related preferred; equivalent experience to be considered
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs required
- Experience programming PLCs required
- Siemens TIA Portal experience desired; Siemens Step 7 without TIA Portal to be considered
- Team player mindset and strong communication skills required
