responsibilities:
- Plan, order, and expedite manufacturing materials for 7 global sites while coordinating with logistics and Trade Compliance to ensure timely arrivals.
- Maintain proactive communication with suppliers to resolve packaging, delivery, pricing, and EDI issues.
- Act as a key liaison, providing vital updates and networking across shop operations, purchasing, quality, and product engineering teams.
- Implement production scheduling systems, coordinate inventory levels, and develop databases to analyze data and measure supplier performance.
- Support new product introductions, participate in quality audits, and lead continuous improvement projects to ensure operational excellence.
