responsibilities:
- Review and process material requests, coordinating with Expediting and Procurement to cost-effectively fulfill orders for Distribution, Transmission, or Generation needs.
- Track open purchase orders and daily inventory reports to quickly identify exceptions, expedite shipments, and alternately source critical materials.
- Partner with Supply Chain Operations on complex projects and serve as a central liaison to implement and evaluate inventory management strategies.
- Monitor performance metrics to ensure business goals are met, recommend strategic process improvements, and train team members on Materials Management systems.
- Execute emergent buying, manage material holds, and handle procurement engineering reporting as needed for specific facilities.
