Our client is seeking an Industrial Engineering Lead in Jackson, MI, to drive operational excellence through process optimization and team leadership. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with a Bachelor's in IE or a related field to mentor a team of engineers, eliminate waste, and implement sustainable changes. You will bridge the gap between data analysis and real-world safety, quality, and delivery goals.

responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Industrial Engineers, prioritizing resources to resolve high-priority risks and close gaps in safety, compliance, and delivery.
- Partner with SMEs to review current performance, identify waste, and develop standardized work instructions and error-proofing measures.
- Conduct time and motion studies, variability analyses, and root cause assessments to determine unit costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
- Define future-state processes and KPIs, utilizing technology and automation to optimize workflows and ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.
- Foster a culture of excellence by implementing new policies and technical enhancements that yield tangible benefits across the organization.
