responsibilities:
- Represent Our Client's safety interests by actively monitoring contractor compliance with approved safety programs, regulatory requirements, and project standards.
- Conduct comprehensive site walkthroughs to oversee high-risk activities, identify unsafe behaviors or conditions, and mandate immediate corrective actions.
- Exercise authoritative oversight, including the ability to issue non-conformance notices and immediately suspend work operations in the event of imminent danger.
- Collaborate with contractors and project leadership by facilitating safety meetings, reporting performance metrics, and reviewing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
- Oversee incident investigations to ensure responsible contractors conduct thorough root-cause analyses and implement effective, lasting preventative measures.
