responsibilities:
- Develop and modify complex 3D solid models and 2D mechanical drawings for products and components.
- Transform sketches, design concepts, and verbal instructions into detailed engineering specifications.
- Create and manage comprehensive documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical data packages.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers to formulate and refine new design concepts.
- Facilitate the Engineering Change and Release process by processing change requests and maintaining documentation standards.
- Perform quality checks and audits on technical drawings and models produced by other team members.
- Mentor junior designers and engineers to help develop their technical skills and CAD proficiency.
- Coordinate the transition of design documentation from development to formal production release.
