Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician

We're working with a client in the HVAC/Refrigeration space looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Tech who knows their way around rack systems and supermarket equipment.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assisting in the repair and overhaul of equipment, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to ensure customer needs are met efficiently, accurately, and on time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Service and repair commercial refrigeration systems (rack systems, walk-ins, display cases)
- Troubleshoot compressors, condensers, pumps, motors, and controls
- Perform preventative maintenance + emergency repairs
- Diagnose issues using electrical + mechanical skills
- Handle installs, startups, and minor remodel work
- Work independently in the field and manage your own service calls
- 3-5 years of commercial refrigeration experience
- Experience with rack systems (supermarket/convenience store)
- EPA Certification
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical + mechanical systems
- Willing to be on-call

responsibilities:
- System Maintenance: Repair and overhaul critical components, including compressors, air handlers, water pumps, gas furnaces, and electrical/mechanical control devices.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Identify malfunctions and operating deficiencies using advanced mechanical and electrical testing skills.
- Preventative Care: Perform routine inspections and system testing to preempt equipment failure and extend service life.
- Project Support: Assist with minor construction, equipment startups, and the installation of new cases and units.
- Operations & Safety: Manage job tickets and work orders accurately while maintaining a safe work environment and operating company vehicles.
