Our client is seeking an Ash Landfill Site Inspector to oversee environmental compliance and construction across multiple Michigan sites. This field-based role requires a strong grasp of Part 115 regulations and the ability to interpret complex civil drawings. Candidates must possess 3-5 years of relevant experience to ensure all contracted maintenance, monitoring, and reporting obligations are met.

responsibilities:
- Monitor contracted entities to ensure all maintenance, surveying, and engineering support meet Michigan Part 115 and RCRA CCR regulatory standards.
- Provide direct oversight for closure activities and new cell construction at active landfill sites, reporting progress to the Program Manager.
- Perform regular audits of third-party engineering activities, including sampling and testing, to ensure data accuracy for jurisdictional reporting.
- Develop and maintain detailed environmental records and support the technical writing process for regulatory compliance reports.
- Conduct routine field inspections across open and closed facilities to verify long-term post-closure monitoring and operational integrity.
