responsibilities:
- Coordinate field operations by scheduling and directing technicians and contractors to address service requests and warranty claims
- Act as a primary point of contact for customer service issues, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally
- Manage materials and logistics, including ordering, shipping, and maintaining inventory for field service stock, tools, and equipment
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, such as job records, material lists, statistical reports, and monthly status spreadsheets
- Analyze technical documents, including engineering drawings, control prints, and material lists, to support field assembly and system upgrades
- Draft detailed work instructions and statements of work to guide field personnel in the execution of their tasks
- Oversee fleet and equipment maintenance, ensuring trucks and trailers are serviced and that all registrations, insurance, and fuel cards are up to date
- Monitor safety compliance by keeping track of required safety equipment and ensuring all field work meets established safety standards
