responsibilities:
- Collaborate with lead engineers and designers to develop design concepts, perform structural analysis, and ensure requirements are accurately communicated in models and design documents.
- Utilize engineering judgment to apply lateral analysis and design practices (wind and seismic), ensuring full compliance with necessary building codes.
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail by meticulously checking your own calculations and performing peer reviews on the work of other engineers.
- Take complete ownership of your structural scope, reliably managing your workload to meet strict schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Define your project scope, accurately forecast the necessary level of effort, and readily escalate scope changes or seek guidance from senior team members when needed.
