Seeking an Aerospace Structural Analyst for a high growth metal fabrication and development client in the West Point, VA area.
The Aerospace Structural Analyst would be responsible for:
- Structural Analysis: Conducted stress analysis on metallic and composite structures using classical methods and Finite Element Modeling (FEM) to verify structural integrity and margins of safety.
- Design & Integration: Developed structural design criteria and provided mechanical recommendations to support modifications, systems integration, weapons development, and OEM reverse engineering.

responsibilities:
- Structural Analysis: Conducted stress analysis on metallic and composite structures using classical methods and Finite Element Modeling (FEM) to verify structural integrity and margins of safety.
- Design & Integration: Developed structural design criteria and provided mechanical recommendations to support modifications, systems integration, weapons development, and OEM reverse engineering.
- MRB & Validation: Supported Material Review Board (MRB) activities and generated FEMs to simulate mechanical behavior and validate design concepts.
- Technical Leadership & Reviews: Maintained active roles in TIMs, PDRs, and CDRs, presenting technical data to internal leadership and external customers.
- Collaboration: Partnered with cross-functional engineering disciplines, management, and clients across development, testing, and production phases.
- Documentation & Compliance: Reviewed and authored technical drawings, reports, and repair procedures to ensure accuracy and conformity to industry standards.
