CAD Drafter for a company that provides Transmission and Distribution products and services for the electrical power industry. Initial duties include structural steel detailing via AutoCAD, interpretation of construction plans and survey information, as well as daily problem solving.

responsibilities:
- Work with and support Engineers by preparing CAD drawings
- Create structure shop drawings for fabrication and field assembly
- Determine information from construction plans
- Perform various drafting and detailing functions using AutoCAD software for various utility clients
- Generate civil, structural, and electrical drawings with assistance from the engineering team
- Will utilize AutoCad software to complete assigned projects
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience as a CAD Drafter
- Experience in engineering and materials fabrication environment
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD
- Ability to prepare engineering drawings
