responsibilities:
- Create and maintain highly precise 2D and 3D design drawings, schematics, and assembly models from sketches and verbal instructions using CAD/CAE software.
- Collaborate closely with originators and engineers to resolve complex design details, discrepancies, and unusual specifications.
- Develop and implement standardized drafting procedures and best practices for the department.
- Evaluate and recommend the purchase of new CAD/CAE-related computer hardware and software technologies.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, applying strong attention to detail and professional judgment to factual design analysis.
