A Quality Supervisor is needed for a leading industrial cooling OEM in the Greenville, SC area. This hands-on role is responsible for executing quality planning activities, including first article, in-process, and final inspections. Additionally, the supervisor will lead the inspection team and support the Quality Manager in maintaining an ISO 9000-based Quality Management System.
Candidates must hold an associate degree or higher in Engineering or Quality Management, paired with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing quality experience, preferably within the HVAC, industrial cooling, or related industrial sector. At least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred, along with a ability to independently develop control plans and interpret complex engineering drawings. Proficiency in core quality tools like CAPA, 8D, and 5 Why, alongside familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, is highly essential.

- Supervise, train, and assign daily workloads to quality inspectors to ensure testing and inspections are performed accurately
- Develop and maintain comprehensive quality control plans for first article, in-process, and final production line inspections
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues identified during testing or from customer feedback
- Assist the Quality Manager in establishing, implementing, and auditing the ISO 9000 Quality Management System
- Partner closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to quickly resolve floor non-conformances and minimize rework
- Ensure all critical manufacturing inspection tools, gauges, and online testing equipment are properly used, maintained, and calibrated
