Growing manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire RF Technician. This position is located near Sparks, Maryland. The RF Technician is on 1st shift and will lead complex test operations, troubleshoot RF circuits at the PCB and component level, and collaborate directly with engineering to define test setups and calibration tasks.
The hourly rate for this position is dependent on experience ranging from $34 to $40 an hour, plus other benefits! All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

responsibilities:
- Perform expert-level electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment and RF circuits
- Execute and interpret complex RF measurements, including gain, noise figure, P1dB, 2nd and 3rd order intercept, and harmonics
- Work alongside the Engineering Lead to conduct experiments, define calibration tasks, and assist in developing methods to modify or control the manufacturing process.
- Assemble and tune RF/microwave components and prototype systems using network analyzers, power meters, and signal generators
- Utilize automated test programs to evaluate product performance, collect performance data, and compile comprehensive test results
- Perform high-precision solder rework under a microscope and modify equipment based on rough sketches, blueprints, or engineering diagrams
- 100% 401K match on the first 3% of employee contribution, plus a 50% match on the next 2%
