Very reputable and growing organization located in Indianapolis is looking for a Plant Electrician-Night Shift (Sunday-Thursday 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM).
This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan with an hourly rate up to $40/hr plus OT, annual bonus, excellent benefits package including a 401k plan with a 7% match.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:
The Plant Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying electrical devices and systems associated with feeder/branch circuits and over current protection.
-Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times
-Troubleshoots and repairs electrical and electronic equipment such as motors, switches, times, transformers, power rectifiers and photoelectric sensors
-Operates equipment and tools to complete work such as cutting, threading, bending conduit, removing and replacing conduit, fittings and junction boxes
-Installs and connects distribution and utilization equipment components; ensures safety codes and National Electric Codes (NEC) are met prior to installation
-Draws, reads and interprets electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
-Conducts weekly/monthly calibrations as required by regulatory agencies
-Serves as active member of the Plant Emergency Response Team (PERT); ensure electrical shutdown in case of emergency
-Utilizes the appropriate required personal protective equipment (PPE) as this position works around hazardous materials
Qualifications:
-3 years of experience as an electrician
-Previous experience working with PLC's
