responsibilities:
- Be the main point of contact for all things MEP, helping guide projects from preconstruction through final turnover and commissioning
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure everyone is aligned and building systems are installed correctly, efficiently and on schedule
- Review drawings and BIM models to catch coordination issues, design conflicts, and scope problems before they become costly field problems
- Lead MEP coordination and clash detection meetings, bringing together trade partners and project teams to keep projects moving forward smoothly
- Walk projects in the field, inspect completed work, identify quality concerns, and partner with subcontractors to quickly resolve issues and maintain high construction standards
- Support system startup, testing and commissioning efforts to ensire every building system is operating as intended before project completion
- Bring a proven understanding of commercial building systems, a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, and/or 5+ years working in the field hands-on with MEP/FP systems
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks and BIM platforms is preferred
